Election Results Through Out The Day!

To keep up with election results throughout the day, check out the following Fulton County Elections Link:

Best of luck to all the candidates!

You Zahnerites are absolute idiots, or disengenuous...maybe just both.

I just got an autodial from Julie, of all people.
She is "all in", as they say in Vegas. Invariably, she hides in the shadows like the wimpy Wizard of Oz, operating via dupes like Leona Cole, Paula Moore, pathetic Carol and nutty Nikky. This time, she is so desperate, the One herself has come out for her cast of candidates.
Her call says Milton will be the same if we vote her way...and it WILL!!!
In other words, no improvement, no parks, no quality of life increases, no tax relief, nothing.
Just a desperate longing for something that only exists in some minds every fall during elections. Anyone who really wants to protect, improve, save Milton needs to run away from the Z-ites as fast as they can.

Let's really do something innovative with our horse community, get parks that are the envy of the region, keep one acre,(regardless of who connects to EXISTING sewer pipes to protect the environment). Julie and her gang haven't done anything innovative in their lives. Look at Tina: uses co-hosts for events she hasn't gotten permission from, signs in places without permission, when corrected she extorts concessions or fires from City committees. She tried to veto the parks authority, didn't start disability awareness as claimed, didn't do much of anything. When an apparently reasonable opponent surfaces, she tries to bribe him to drop she can save her sacred seat & title. Oh, she isn't a professor, she is an "instructor". Doesn't sound so cool.
We should be much more concerned about a man's brother going public saying he is unfit for a position of public trust, than some silly trumped up claim of an obscure company scandal.

Get real, go vote. The only truth is this IS an important election. In Dist 5, if Tina does win, we will have to pay $100k for a special election, undoubtedly, unless the City sues Tina due to her misconduct and makes her pay...which she can't.

Julie and her gang haven't run a business, held a job and most seem to have trouble selecting spellcheck when they blog. Do you really want moonbats running a $20million business, with your money and your property value at stake?

I don't.

How about suing Karen, Bill and Longoria and O'Brien for bringing up BS ethics charges, since they are the ones that are behind the charges, they can pay for them. Nice timing. Why wait over a month to file a week before election date? Oh, because she could clear her name by then. Snake O'Brien. Please move out of Milton. You have done nothing, not even a peep out of you since you were removed from your seat. If you really cared about Milton you wouldn't only show your face when someone begs you to do something dirty for them.

So am I supposed to say I'd rather have screaming meemee's like you, last poster, running the city?

JZB's suburban is out in front of the Northwester Middle School polling place full of campaign magnets - 15 or more for Tina, Bernard and Al, and has campaign signs proped up in the windows. JZB is not in the polling place. Isn't this against campaign law?

Are you kidding me! She is supposed to be working! Teaching kids. The BOE should fire her.

You'd rather have people on council who wither away once they aren't on council pulling up BS eithic charges for other candidates? Where did O'Brien, Mohrig, Santi all go after the election.. NO WHERE, and did NOTHING for this city except wait for this election to do whatever was necessary for Bill and Karen and who ever was running against Tina to get her out of office. Lockwood obviously threw his support their way so they wouldn't go and find someone to run against him, so he's the smart one who is playing both sides here. He knew how viscious they were, so he decided to play nice for now. He can't stand Karen Thurman and everyone knows it. He didn't want an opponent and so that is why he did what he did. But he has created a mess by doing so. The people who supported him, and helped him oust O'Brien and Mohrig are not happy with Lockwood, and they are voting for the other new candidates because of his new found support for Karen and Bill. The previous councilmen have contributed ZERO to this community, end of story. Karen and Bill called upon O'Brien to file the ethics charges against Tina because they didn't want their name associated with it. That is the truth, and we all know it. We were sick of O'Brien and Mohrig and their pro development, pro sewer, protect milton with zoning only attitude that we voted them out of office because we didnt trust them to do the right thing. Karen and Bill fall under that category and I hope the people of Milton do the right thing like they did last elections and get rid of them. There is nothing formidable about Longoria, everything he knows now and has been spewing is from the mouth of Karen Thurman who is is foster mother during the campaign. He never showed up for one council meeting ever in his life until Crooked Creek decided they wanted the city to spend $600,000 to fix their roads then gate the neighborood for them. That is why he decided to run, and Karen and Bill were all over him like white on rice. We the people of Milton are not stupid even though you think we are because we don't all live in 1 million dollar homes and up, or live out of our means like half that neighborhood.

I just voted... Longoria, Wolff and Trevillyan. As a libertarian, I tried to choose those who appeared to be the most limited government minded individuals. I believe the libertarian mindset is what will preserve this equestrian community.

Once and for all shut up about Crooked Creek!! We are citizens just like everyone else in the city of Milton. We are not degrading and insulting to the other citizens of Milton-

Yes, a lot of you are.

Lockwood totally supports Karen Thurman and Bill Lusk. After working with them for a while he reaized they are good for our city and now really appreciates them. To the long post poster above. Your post illustrates what is not good for a council meeting - emotional, long winded diatribes like the opponents camp is known for.

11:46 - apparently you missed the very first bag-o-wind post.

Reports of Julie, Tina, Al, Bernard supporters taking Lockwood signs away from Karen and Bill supporters, when they weren't looking and holding them up along with their signs. Verbal fight broke out.

To the very cowardly 8.13 a.m. poster kindly leave my name out of all this vicious election Cr*p.

FYI I have very close friends supporting Bill and Karen and I have equally close friends supporting the other candidates.

Other than a few 'official' photo's for Tina everyone, including Joe Lockwood Burt Hewitt, Karen Thurman, Alan Tart, Tina D'Aversa etc not to mention all my friends and my entire neighborhood know that I have refused to be drawn into any campaign. I have remained neutral and have not lifted one finger to assist any campaign - and that includes not forwarding one email.

If you have something to say to me, have any ounce of decency and can summon just a little pair of balls then call me on my cell below and we can chat.

If not then at least get your facts straight. I have other far more serious and pressing concerns to deal with at present. The Milton Election is not one of them. Those that care about are fully aware of that!

Thank you

Great Nikki! Appreciate your sentiments. I'm too chicken to post my name.

To all on both sides of this election. No matter who wins I suggest we remember that we are all part of this community. If you sit down with any group of our citizens, we really have end goals that are very close to each others. I hope after this is over we can put the nastiness behind us. These things tend to polorize groups which is a shame, because we want the same things. Here's to Milton and all of you who really feel passionate about our City!

Certainly, as a founder of Koolaid Chuggers of Milton, we can believe every word.
Thanks for clearing that up.

And thanks for the customary decency amidst the howling turmoil.

12:23> Couldn't agree more. Lets pledge to seek and only share the truth. After today, maybe we can even get those who jump to conclusion, lie to stay in power and all that we've endured now for a while to stop.
Maybe we'll even get the current supporters of the liberal/green group in today's election to do the same.

"Does your mom know about your drinking problem Joe Clinton?"

Stuff like this, from elswhere on this blog, has got to stop.

Blog are often pretty rarified discussion sites, but maybe, just maybe we can keep the innocent and simply bs out of the dialogue, in future.

For example, I havent read or heard of any drinking or philandering to justify this recent line of attack from the Tina crowd. If the same were leveled at any of our officials or candidates, it should be met with disgust.
Yet, at least this time around, it is ok?
If a shred of truth, then it is at best debatable to post. So much of what shapes the debate in Milton is totally false...just look at the former Lockwood people turning on him, in just a couple years.

I can't wait till this is all over all of you small people can go back into your little holes (at least for 2 more years).

Hi Nikki,
Heard someone posted my name on this blog as well. I'm not sure where, must be way down there somewhere. Like you, I have had absolutely ZERO involvement this time around. I'm in California. Your family's house in South Africa just burnt to the ground. Priorities.

Nevertheless, I'm anxiously awaiting the news...

Good Luck to my "picks".
