By Accessmilton.comThe Milton Grows Green Committee (MGG) and City of Milton are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Earth Day Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in pristine Birmingham Park (click here for directions).
This fun, free family event is part of Milton's efforts to increase environmental awareness in the community and will include a "Green Egg Hunt" at noon, entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides and the "Growing Greener" kids' activity tent packed with fun crafts and unique environmental games.
There will also be great food from local eateries, vendors displaying "green" products and services, and the simple and fun opportunity to take a hike or stroll around Birmingham Park's 200-plus acres. Plus, bring your old athletic shoes for recycling!
