City New Hires.

GilliamTom Gilliam: Gilliam is our Recreation Program Coordinator, which means he will create and oversee all of the programs for the Parks and Recreation Department. Gilliam has a Recreation Management degree from West Georgia College and a Physical Education and Health degree from Kennesaw State University. He has worked in recreation for Fulton County and Roswell, as well as taught and coached in high schools. Most recently, Gilliam served as Recreation Minister for North Metro First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, where he created the Recreation Ministry from scratch. GriffinJason Griffin: Griffin is a new police officer who joined us earlier this year. He brings seven years of experience to our city, having previously worked for the Newton County Sherriff's Office as an investigator. In 2009, he was nominated for the Officer of the Year Award.

NoblettAndrew Noblett: Noblett started with the City of Milton on Feb. 14. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Noblett joins the city after serving three years with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office. He eventually hopes to work more in the area of training helping new officers learn the job.
