What kind of person hosts a party for someone but does not bother to show up? Citizens should be asking a lot of questions about Chuck Campbell????

Maybe he was too busy doing the mayor's bidding.

Oh come on!

Since the date chosen is one that first and foremost has to accomodate both the hosting household and the candidate, perhaps it was a date that Chuck Campbell was not able to make. It does not mean that he did not contribute in any way.

With busy lives and the multitude of activities people engage in we all experience difficulties in trying, for example, to coordinate our own families together for a function.

Why should it be any diffferent when you are trying to accomodate a large number of hosts on any given night?

Chuck is good people. Great community advocate. Fantastic youth sports coach.

I hear a lot of "co-hosts" weren't there, because they didn't know they were co-hosts.
Nice, Tina.

No, ALL of the developer and pro-Joe Lockwood/Thurman/Lusk supporters who SUPPOSEDLY supported Tina did not show. Many of these were co-hosts. Is anyone really surprised by this? The intent of this group all along was to manipulate Tina so she would not come out in support of Bernard Wolff and Al Trevillyan. Thank you, Tina, for standing up to these special interests and doing the right thing for Milton!

Chuck, a community advocate? Laughable. He only comes out of hiding when it's election time. And he flip flops like a fish thrown out of water. Once Lockwood has served his term limits, we will never hear from Chuck again.

The previous comment reminds me of an (admittedly off-topic) question I had. Does anyone know if the council and mayor are term-limited in Milton? I haven't seen this mentioned here before. Just curious.

I wholeheartedly disagree. Chuck is one of the people that make this community great. He coached my son and made what will be a life long impact. We need more like him.

Super words about coaching. Just hope he wasn't his ethics role model, because in that area, he has genuine problems.
Nice to hear the redeeming qualities, for sure.
Two terms, known as the Zahner rule, for Milton officials.
