Milton Police Look For Bicycle Bank Robber.

By RALPH ELLIS / The Atlanta Journal-Constitution / Published on: 10/15/07

Milton police are looking for a man who escaped on a bicycle last week after robbing the RBC Centura Bank of $2,200 in cash.

The man walked into the bank on Cumming Highway about 11:30 a.m. Oct. 9 and handed a teller a bank bag and a note demanding money, police said. The man told the teller not to place an ink dye pack in the bag, so she removed a bundle of $20 bills that contained the dye pack, the teller told police.

One of the bank employees said the robber was "grungy looking." The suspect was described as white, about 50 years old, about 5-foot-2 and 170 pounds, bald and wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

I'm sure Neal O'Brien, or "RJ" as he is affectionately reffered to around city hall, was right on top of it. But wait, can he ride a bike, or will Delta find out and cut off his disability? I wonder if they know that he is out campaigning and walking door to door?

I have been out of the loop for a bit. Neal is on disability? - why is that?

Ask him. Something about a hurt back, so he gets nervous when he is mowing the lawn and sees a black van with Delta on the side drive up. Wouldn't it be ironic if his campaign brochures somehow got to the HR dept. at Delta?

aaahh gotcha! Some photogs would be nice.

I want to know why the Milton Police is always checking on his house? Is he paranoid or what?

No, it makes him feel like he is somebody important when he gets attention like that. Remember, Jan Jones told him he was a nobody until he got elected to city council, and now he is a somebody. What a terible attitude. It's like being on a homeowners association, you should just do it tohelp out the cause, not for power or favors. Just for fun inquire with Neal's neighbors why he isn't on the association any more!

Would be very appreciative if his neighbors would clue us in as to why he is no longer on association.

Thank you
