Manipulation of Accessmilton.com Polls.

All:

We periodically post polls allowing the public to have input on various city related topics.

While we believe the majority treat these information gathering portals with respect by voting one time to insure and equal and fair return, there are those who are manipulating the results.

It is not uncommon to see results with one option well ahead of the other, but within an hour 20 or more votes come in flipping the return upside down.

While Accessmilton.com does receive quite a bit of traffic, to see such a jump in such a brief period is easily suspect.

To these individuals taking advantage of the system, we request that you only vote once. Pumping up the results does no one any good, regardless of the opinion you harbor.

To those casting their one and only vote, we thank you.

When you start posting neutral based questions/polls, I will stop my fun!

Thanks for confirming what we already knew...

And by the way, 45% of polls posted are suggested by our readers INCLUDING the most recent one.

You are more than welcome to provide one yourself by emailing us at sales@magnoliamedias.com.

Then again, you would end up outing yourself which might make you actually have to confront someone instead of hiding behind a computer screen like a coward.

The polls are there for all to have an equal say regarding various issues. Stop messing with it and treat your fellow citizens with respect.

I am right here.

How 'bout a poll asking if elected officials who engage in bribery should be excused or hammered?

Funny boy:

Read my initial comment. It says
"You are more than welcome to provide one yourself by emailing us at sales@magnoliamedias.com." Soooo, email us. We do not take suggestions under anonymous posts. We have to have an author for the suggestion.

If you do have the courage to email the suggestion, I wonder how you would feel if someone out in cyberworld messes with the results.

Tim: Admit it, you didn't like the result of the poll regarding the Parks Director vs. new police hires.
