After School Weights;Builds Self-Confidence, Fitness Savvy in Teens.

Nick Bates, Studio One to One Manager, is inviting local 12 to 15 year-olds to attend After School Weights, a program designed specifically for youth. The program focuses on increasing strength through resistance training, improving coordination, boosting confidence, building mental toughness, and gaining fitness knowledge that will last a lifetime.

“After School Weights is a great way to be a positive influence on youth during this often difficult age,” shared Mr. Bates. “I didn’t have this individual attention growing up, but I was an active kid and that laid a strong foundation for my adult life. Parents expect so much of their kids these days that sometimes exercise and an active lifestyle are lower on the priority list. I will teach your kids the proper technique, safety, and weight room etiquette. But most importantly, kids in our program will gain self-confidence that comes with doing something positive for their bodies.”

The program is appropriate for youth between the ages of 12 and 15 who are just starting out with weight training, or those who have tried it and would love to learn more. The program consists of eight 45-minute after-school sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 4:45 p.m. The program costs $139 and is held at Studio One to One, a personal training studio in Milton. The next session starts April 11th, 2011. Register for Studio One to One’s After School Weights Program=>
