Arnold Mill Road (Ga. 140) shut down due to fire

MILTON, GA., Jan. 29, 2010 - The Milton Police and Fire Departments advise that Arnold Mill Road (Ga. 140) in Milton is shut down from Ranchette Road to the Cherokee County line due to Milton and Roswell fire crews fighting a blaze.

Capt. Shawn McCarty, a spokesman for the Milton Police Department, said the fire is at 13680 Arnold Mill Road in Roswell. To date, there are no known injuries.

McCarty said the road will be shut down until the fire is extinguished.

If you would have a backup plan when emergencies happen then he wouldn't have a problem...

May have a hand full but do they have the staff to put them out corrctly? Just can't call CH and complain now. Might take 24 hours to get it done when you requires others to do it in two hours.. Is this what we get for dropping a company such as CH.. Slack service?

Hey they still have the exact same people doing it but just not a huge taxpayer mark-up for CH.

Anonymous: Back up plan was to follow re route suggestion. However POOR SIGNAGE did not direct NON-RESIDENTS OF YOUR AREA to the local alternative route road suggested.

DUH! Hence why he called here to get mapquesting directions.

DOT SHOULD HAVE A PLAN! Come on!
