Get a glimpse at life in Milton City Hall.

Take a tour of your government during Georgia Cities Week April 18-24

Dear Milton residents,

We at City Hall are always looking for ways to make your Milton government more open, more accommodating and easier to use. And this April, everyone in the city has a truly great opportunity to make this ongoing mission a reality during Georgia Cities Week.

Now in its 11th year, Georgia Cities Week, scheduled for April 18-24, is a program created by the Georgia Municipal Association to highlight everything a community’s government can be. In Milton, we take this opportunity to shine seriously. As such, I would like to invite everyone to experience life at City Hall.

Tours of your government buildings are always encouraged, but with today’s busy lives, we understand that it may be somewhat low on your priority list. During this week in April, why not make it a point to come to City Hall, located at 13000 Deerfield Parkway, and take a tour by yourself, with friends or with your family?

One of our many committed and friendly staffers would be pleased to show off where they are proud to work. While there, you can talk to the various department heads, get answers to any lingering questions you may have and view city equipment like police cars (barring, of course, they aren’t in service).

We, the elected officials and City Hall professionals of the City of Milton, want every last one of the roughly 30,000 people in this city to know how committed we are to serving you. Why not give us an opportunity to show you first hand? Here’s hoping we’ll be seeing you very soon.

Sincerely,

Mayor Joe Lockwood
