All:

There are three new polls up.

The first two focus on the current Milton council election while the third addresses the high school naming controversy.

Have you say today!

Tim can people vote more than once, if so, than this is a waste of time.

No. The system we have in place is normally pretty hard to break.

Vote away.

I vote to use Milton in the name!

I vote to create our own identity and own reputation. Not interested in hanging on the coat tail of another school to fool colleges and recruiters into thinking the schools are related somehow so my kid will benefit.
I'll get my kid into Ivy League college on his own merit.

Hey Tim, I just voted twice from the same computer once yesterday and once today, so your poll is flawed. It wasn't difficult at all, just voted yesterday and today to see if your system was secure or not.

Not.

Sincere congradulations to your child. That is really an awesome accomplishment.
However....
Not interested in riding any schools "coat tails", but rather having the new school being identified as coming from the CITY of Milton! (By the way, there are some issues regarding MHS, that need to change to have this so called squeaky clean reputation to which you refer. They have their on messes to clean up with sports , staffing choices etc).
Why are folks so confused on that issue. It is not following a school. It is the CITY that I want to be represented!!!!

Count me as a "new namer". Nothing says inferiority complex like being the 2nd school with a name -- how many "____ State" Universities are better than the "University of ___"? This school will do quite well on its own. The sooner it can establish its own identity, the better (not a knock on MHS mind you).

Another tempest in a teapot. Get over it.

As usual, this blog creates more heat than light. But of course that is the intent.

Any issues! Iphone did it!

You are wrong. This website does not create issues, it is some lowdown citizens that love to do this and then hide till the next chance to spew nastiness.

This website craves controversy and only "promotes" those who add to it's revenue. Those lowdown citizens are neighbors to Access Milton's corporate office. The upstanding citizens don't give it any credibility other than a good laugh for the day, just to see what the Enloes are up to now.

11:01 AM, this website is outstanding for the responsible people living in Milton. Now, let's talk about your input - worthless. I have known the Enloes for a long time. They are good people.

the new poll just shows that people DO WANT Milton in the name. There have been 2 polls and both results have been eerily similar. In fact, this poll is even more bulletproof because you cannot vote more than once from one computer so it is not flawed like American Idol where you can vote multiple times for the same person. Ridiculous. Kudos to Access Milton for exposing the truth that the Milton citizens do want the Milton name in the high school. Too bad this probably will go on deaf ears and the Milton Herald will act like Helen Keller and not write up a pro-North Milton HS article. Something like 65% in new poll WANT North Milton as the name of the new HS would be justice and the right thing to do.
