Qualifying won’t end for several days, but three Republican candidates for the District 56 state Senate seat will debate tonight at the Metropolitan Club at 5895 Windward Parkway.
John Albers, Brandon Beach and David Belle Isle are seeking the seat now held by Dan Moody, who said he’ll retire at the end of this legislative session. The Republican primary is July 20
The debate starts at 7:15 p.m. and is sponsored by The Beacon newspaper.
Albers is chief information officer of Ronald Blue & Co., a financial and investment consulting firm. Beach is president and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. Belle Isle is a lawyer and has served on the Alpharetta City Council.
