Governor debates April 22 and 29.

The North Fulton Mayor's Alliance will hold two debates -- one for the Democratic candidates for governor and the other for the Republican candidates -- at Roswell United Methodist Church April 22 and 29.

Both debates start at 7 p.m. and will be moderated by the Mayors of North Fulton cities: Milton's Joe Lockwood, Alpharetta's Arthur Letchas, Roswell's Jere Wood, Johns Creek's Mike Bodker, Sandy Springs' Eva Glamabos and Mountain Park's Jim Still.

Confirmed candidates for the Democratic debate April 22 include Thurbert Baker, Carl Camon and Dubose Porter. Republican candidates confirmed to attend April 29 include Karen Handel, Scott Austin, Eric Johnson, Jeff Chapman, Nathan Deal and Ray McBerry.

Roswell United Methodist Church is located at 814 Mimosa Boulevard in Roswell.

While I don't know who I am going to vote for, I do know that I can't vote for Handel.

I am hard pressed to vote for a Governor who didn't go to college. Particularly in a state that needs so much educational reform.

Is she aware that her campaign slogan is the name of a tacky Hollywood movie about a high school cheerleading contest? "Bring it on!"
I keep expecting her to bring on the pigtails and pom-poms. What's next? Splits on the capitol steps?

So, can we also assume you would be upset that a certain local mayor didn't "graduate" high school?

Don't know who I will end up voting for, but Handel seems to have done well & gone awfully far despite missing the chance for a formal college education.

I guess the Milton taxpayers will take another hit while the city staff prepare questions so our lovable gimp doesn't look too foolish among the other mayors!

Yeah, especially since he also has a job and is working full time rather than hiding under cover from Delta while under "dis-ability" excuse so he can play "Mr. Mom"?

"Ummm...Uh"

I thought this post was about the Governors race? Last time I checked that is the subject not the hyperbole that you are brining up.

Ok, you have one poster trying to trash the mayor and another trying to trash an ex councilmember, what's up with that?

I am confused about the dates of the debate... The Milton e-blast from Jason, the Milton website, and the Sandy Springs website says the Republicans are going on the 22nd and Dems on 29th. The Milton Herald and Access Milton says the Dems are going on the 22th and Repubs on 29th. Anyone able to clarify so I don't show up on the wrong day?
