Milton approves street resurfacing work.

The Milton City Council approved agreements Monday for more than $1.5 million in road repair and resurfacing work.

Officials awarded a $1.49 million contract to Blount Construction for improvements and resurfacing on New Bullpen, Webb, Freemanville, Thompson, Nix and Brittle roads. The projects are part of the city's annual upkeep schedule.

Another contract for $11,950 was signed with Cook Construction Services for work to repair erosion damage from Chicken Creek along Glencreek Way in the Shadowood Farms subdivision.

What is being done to Brittle Road? I thought it was a gravel road where JJ and Lusk built their homes.

Road has to be smooth so USPS can deliver, in a timely manner, the tax due notices.
