Dec. 6 named “Hunt Tosh Day” in Milton.

At its Dec. 6 meeting, Milton’s City Council honored long time Milton resident Hunt Tosh, a rider, trainer and caregiver of championship horses.

Earlier this year Tosh won the prestigious Chronicle of the Horse/United States Hunter Jumper Association International Hunter Derby in Lexington, Ky. He added the title to his growing list, including being the 2009 World Champion in the Hunter Rider Professional Finals.

Milton’s Council honored Tosh, who lives in Milton with his wife and daughter, because of the way he has made his hometown famous in the equestrian world.
