Thinking About Two Special MPD Officers.

All:

Sometimes, I think people forget that the men and women who make up our Milton Police Department are people too. They have families and lives just like the rest of us even though they put in long hours and deal with very dangerous situations on our behalf.

Recently, word came to us at Accessmilton.com that an officer lost their father earlier this month. In addition, another officer's father is not doing well at all.

While the names of these heroes are not important, if you have the time or a moment, please keep these folks in your thoughts and prayers. They need them now more than you know.

Better yet, maybe drop some flowers or thinking of you cards by the police department at city hall. The people at the front desk will be able to help you.

Remember, if Milton is going to succeed we have to look out for and be there for everyone, especially those that keep our loved ones safe.

Tim, you know what I find curious? I'm not sure how this happens but...

In all the time I've visited your blog, all the times I've written to you, I have never experienced what is happening right now.

Why aren't the comments posted on this subject immediately being posted to your page. Why is there such a delay? Why do the number of comments shown on the post not correspond with the actual number of comments "live". Eventually they work out. But there is a significant and noticeable delay. Why is that? It doesn't appear to be a Google Blogspot issue. It is specific to AM. You might want to check that out.

I am not sure, but believe it is due to the later code registration that we require to cut down on spam.

Rest assured that, while we do delete some comments due to language, they are posted immediately. We see them after the fact. It is at that time to whether a deletion is decided or not.

We apologize is this is causing any problems. Eventually, we do plan on upgrading the news aggregation part of accessmilton.com where clear registration is required.

All the best -

Tim, great blog! I completely agree and appreciate the up date. We, here in Milton are very fortunate to have these exceptional men and women caring for this community. Praying for each of those mentioned and as always the entire Milton police force.
