Milton, GA
It was a chilly and overcast day as the City Of Milton welcomed it's first official Christmas Tree home. Thanks to Lisa & Frank Cauley of Protect Milton, the beautiful twenty plus foot conifer stood tall and proud as it was put into place at the corner of Highway Nine and Webb Road.
Master of Ceremonies was District 5 Council person and Mayor Protem Tina D'Aversa.
In addition to the thirty plus visitors, Milton's Fire and Police showed up as well to make sure a successful moment in history took place. City Arborist Mark Law had his hands full supervising and insuring the newest member of the Milton family would live long and prosper.
Other notable attendees included current council members Bill Lusk, Julie Zahner Bailey,Karen Thurman, district five candidate Al Trevillyan, City Manager Chris Lagerbloom, and city advocates Paul and Kathy Moore.
