Preserve Milton - Elect Al Trevillyan

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

My name is Al Trevillyan, and I am running for Milton City Council (District 3, At-Large). Today I want to make several commitments to you. As a member of the council, I will represent you, the citizens of Milton - NOT special interest groups such as developers. I volunteered for and served on the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee (CPAC) and was removed by Mr. Lusk because I represented the wishes of the citizens, not the developers who support him. If you have any doubt, you can review his campaign contribution disclosure reports yourself. These reports are public record and are available on my website. To view the reports, click here. His contributors mostly include developers, contractors, subcontractors, wastewater (sewer) treatment companies, construction companies, and law firms that may profit through actions taken by the City.

So that there will be no doubt whatsoever about my intentions, you have my commitment that I will never accept any campaign contribution from any developer, construction company, contractor, or any business entity that could eventually profit through work with the City of Milton.

I have told you before that I will listen to you and not special interest groups. To help communicate with you, I will commit to hold regular public meetings, for all citizens of Milton, where you can tell me your concerns and I can keep you informed of coming issues that could affect you or your property values.

Absentee in-person (absentee in-person includes advance voting)Voters may cast an absentee ballot in person on weekdays,8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, October 13, 2009 - Friday, October 30, 2009.

Those who vote in person during this period must provide a reason for voting absentee acceptable form of identification. Examples of reasons for voting by absentee ballot include being away from the precinct on Election Day, being an election official or public servant on duty during the entire time the polls are open, having a physical disability; observing a religious holiday, or being age 75 or older.

Advance Voting (In Person)Voters may cast their ballot in person beginning Monday, October 26 to Friday, October 30, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Those who vote in person during this period are not required to provide a reason for voting absentee, but must provide an acceptable form of Photo Identification.
