Milton police, with the assistance of the Roswell and Alpharetta police departments and North Fulton SWAT, have arrested three suspects in the March 12 shooting death of 19-year-old Christopher Walker outside his Milton home.

Officers obtained warrants March 26 for the arrest of Matthew Goins, 20, of Alpharetta, Michael Grant, 23, of Roswell, and Richard Davidson, 20, of Roswell, in connection with the crime. They are all in Fulton County Jail without bond.

All three suspects are charged with murder, aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery. Additionally, Davidson is charged with possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Walker, an Alpharetta High School graduate, was shot once in the head just before 7:30 p.m. in the driveway of his Silhouette Court home. He was transported to North Fulton Regional Hospital, where he died.

Officers believe the suspects targeted Walker because of his gold chain and followed him from an Alpharetta Taco Bell to his home.

Leads in the case came the Crime Stoppers tip line, and officers were able to locate the suspects based on a description of the car used in the crime.
