The "Children's Flight: The Hope for Tomorrow" Golf Tournament will take place Monday, Nov. 8 at the Alpharetta Athletic Club East Course (formerly Crooked Creek, 3430 Ga. 9 Milton, GA 30004). It will start at 10 a.m. with registration and a putting contest, then a shotgun start featuring four-player teams in 18-hole play Texas scramble format.
All funds raised from the tournament will go to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, which is working on a documentary film project named Children's Flight: The Hope for Tomorrow.
The film follows the story of a patient who is in remission and provides hope to Children's Healthcare families. It is planned to be broadcast nationwide to raise awareness for Children's and, in conjunction with a red carpet premiere night, raise more than $1.5 million for the foundation.
