Mayor, Council Members Sworn In

Milton - City Hall was a beavy of activity this past Wednesday as Mayor Joe Lockwood and Council Members, Karen Thurman, Bill Lusk, and Joe Longoria were sworn into office.
In addition, Council Member Burt Hewitt was elected as Mayor Pro-tem.

Hope ongoing California bankruptcy proceedings won't keep Karen from meeting her obligations to Milton.

She is trying to move on and that is why she changed her name.
Is that why she had them swear her in as "Susan"?

"Drop it, move on" mentality has allowed her to continue to profit while the company preys on soldiers and their families. That's unsat.
That's a load of crap and you kool-aid drinkers know it. She won the election overwhelmingly. Get over it.
And also whatever she decides to call herself it dosent really matter as long as she keeps her same ss# and the same seat at the end of the council.
I hope Karen Thurman will be able to convert Julie Bailey to her new religon?
