Every voice, every dollar and every volunteer makes all the difference!Helping to protect and plan for the future of this unique area has required the BHA's involvement in a variety of activities including transportation issues, proposed zoning amendments, and on-going monitoring of zonings already approved but not implemented, and more. Constant Attention Requires Commitment and Funding - Everyone Makes a Difference We ask for your membership and financial support. We are a fully volunteer organization and it is only through the generous donations and volunteer-time from our community that we have been successful. It takes time and money, but we all benefit directly from the results.Join or renew your membrship with BHA right now! Click here for online membership. We organize people, not just around issues, but around their values. The issues fade, and people lose interest in them. But what they really care about remains: Family, dignity, justice, and hope. We need power to protect what we value.

BHAs time has come and gone. We are now a city. While community involvement is always needed, what we don't need is one sided arguments from the same 4 or 5 people.

Oh, come on now! Spend more time in the sun cleaning up a park or river, etc. It'll do wonders for your negative disposition. You might even like some of the community volunteers. We won't turn your helping hand away!

Not negative. Just fact. Will the BHA get involved in the Chandlee and her neighbor situation?

Not fact. Just your opinion. When you stretch the truth it becomes your opinion. When you stretch your opinion it becomes a lie.

By God old Leon Cole will get involved in the poop situation, as long as there are no more tennis court signs in town?

Does Mr. Cole drive around in a grey Dodge city truck that says Bailey Farms on it?

Anonymous said...

No that is Mr. Bailey himself.

Why not tell us who you are so we can slander your reputation and business?

I applaud Leon Cole for taking his retirement years to get involved in the Community and protect what we hold dear. Whether you like or don't like what he argues for or against, he is devoted to preserving the good lifestyle here while preserving local history of the folks that made it this way. Not council people, not subdivision HOA's, not politically motivated residents - He is just trying to make a difference where he loves to live. So respect your elders and please refrain from saying anything negative about this man. Folks like Leon are the very reason Milton still has a SOUL. Please don't forget this.....
