Milton High School Indoor Drumline Takes First Place Honors.

The Milton High School Indoor Drumline tied for first place at the Winter Classic Percussion Contest held at Mill Creek High School Saturday.

Following months of intense practice, the Milton High School Indoor Drumline was rewarded with first place honors on Saturday, February 5th, much to the delight of their performers, staff, and supporters.

2011 marks Milton Indoor Drumline’s first foray into the Percussion Scholastic World Class Division, where only the top indoor drumlines compete.

Performing the first half of their new show entitled, “What Goes Around Comes Around”, Milton performed before a panel of distinguished judges as well as a packed gym of avid fans. Under the direction of Mark Kapral, Brandon Kunka, Tom Fleming,and Sean Oram, the Milton High School Indoor Drumline in their very first competition of the year, tied for first place with Forsyth Central High School’s drumline, who have competed in the same division for 6 years.
