It is going to be very interesting to see what transpires if we do indeed become the city of Milton, GA. It is one thing to become a city and then allow development to proceed much like it has in neighboring Roswell and Alpharetta; it is another thing to truly become something unique. To be that, our citizens must use restraint and protect our beautiful landscape and encourage preservation. We have over eight golf courses and plenty of "communities." What we need now are parks, both for sports as well as camping and horse back riding. Then, our city will truly become coveted and land prices will be protected.
What is the process to vote on July 18th? Where do you vote? How do you register? We just moved to this area of town and are not registered to vote in Fulton County. Does that matter?
Will our mailing address change from Alpharetta, GA 30004 to Milton, GA 30004 or some other zip code? If so when would the change of mailing address take place? Please let me know.
