Milton's
National Wildlife Federation (NWF) Community Habitat Project is near completion,
making Milton just the fourth certified community in the state and 71st in the
country. Volunteers need only to certify a few more places of worship, HOA
common areas and businesses as wildlife friendly.
Certification is quick and online (with a $20 donation). For more information, visit http://www.nwf.org/How-to-Help/Garden-for-Wildlife/Certify-Your-Wildlife-Garden.aspx.
Additionally, congratulations to Milton resident Laura Cedarquist and The Broadwell Cottage, winners of the bronze NWF habitat garden signs.
Thanks to the Milton community for your support of wildlife and making properties friendly to butterflies, birds and other animals.
For more information on the project or for a virtual garden tour,
