MILTON, Ga. – A missing $20 bill was the cause of a violent fight Aug. 9 between
roommates.
The victim said she was home at the Dunbrody Drive residence she shared with her roommate, Joshua David Pace, 22, of Milton. Pace came home and the pair noticed $20 missing from the kitchen table. They began arguing. The victim called Pace's mother and Pace allegedly became angry and began punching the victim repeatedly. The victim was able to break free and flee. Pace denied fighting, but admitted to arguing.
Pace was arrested for aggravated assault and battery.
The $20 was found on the floor behind a trash can.
