The City of Milton's Police Department is looking for residents interested in
taking a free, eight-week Citizens' Police Academy.
The Citizens' Police Academy will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 26 to Nov. 15 in City Council Chambers of Milton's City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway Suite 107 E (click here for directions).

Baronian said 20 students will have the opportunity to participate in:
"The Citizens' Police Academy is a unique opportunity for our residents to get a glimpse into what our training entails." said Baronian. "I think it also gives everyone a better understanding of the job officers are expected to perform."

- SWAT tactics
- Taser and baton demonstrations
- K-9 procedures
- Crime scene analysis
- Shooter scenarios
