MILTON, Ga., Oct. 19, 2011 - Looking for a way to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October? Why not sport one of the T-shirts now on sale through the Milton Police Department?
The $15 T-shirt (see design below) was designed exclusively for the City of Milton Police, said Officer Brian Kiel, who this year spearheaded the effort to raise money for breast cancer research. All proceeds from the sale of the shirt go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, he said.
It features the slogan "Real Men Wear Pink," which the department's male officers have adopted as their motto for October.
To download an order form for the shirt, click here=> http://www.cityofmiltonga.org/Susan%20G%20Komen%20Pre-Order%20Form.pdf.
Simply bring the form with cash or check (made out to Susan G. Komen for the Cure) to Police Headquarters at City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway Suite 107 F Milton, GA 30004
"My family has been personally affected by breast cancer, so I really appreciate the opportunity to raise money and awareness to end the disease," said Kiel. "I hope you'll join me and contribute a small part to this very important cause."
