This will be fun. I can't wait to watch Kunz amd Large self-destruct on-line just like they did last night at the forum. If you are not troubled by knowing the facts and details like Kunz and Large, elect them. If you want proven leadership that had preserved an admired quality of life here in Milton, elect Tart and Bailey.
That's not true! Of course, LL's and MK's written responses will be much better than their oral responses at the forum. Their consultant will write these responses for them. Maybe that's their problem...their political consultant from Tallahassee doesn't know jack about Milton. And since LL didn't even mean to move here when he did, I'm not at all surprised they can't get their facts straight.
I don't expect a candidate to have an encyclopedic knowledge of his opponents voting record. I do expect him to see big picture issues, like the city's exposure to litigation when the council impedes small business. I also expect candidates to have integrity outside of the council.
You mean like the kind of integrity it takes to invite a councilmember and his family over to your house for dinner (twice) to befriend him so you can get intel to use when you eventually run against him for city council? That's a class act!
Aren't Kunz and Large using the same political consultant that Alan and Julie used in 2007?
To 6:55...nope! Alan and Julie are using the voice of the community to guide their campaign, just like they did in 2007.
Yes, it is true that Julie used the same consultant in her previous campaign. However, word on the street says she has never claimed such in a public disclosure as required by law. Why is her campaign attacking Kunz for this now? To mislead us all? It has also been reported that during this week's Candidate Forum she stated she was the only candidate with "integrity". Did Alan Tart agree with this statement?
Are you saying Julie Zahner Bailey is unethical?
I don't get the Zahner Bailey signs in the median on Deerfield Parkway.
False alarm...the Zahner Bailey signs on Deerfield were dispatched, with extreme prejudice.
Yet the Kunz and Large signs are still up. Why is it that developer Adam Orkin, who owns much of the developed and yet-to-developed land in Deerfield and Highway 9, and Ron Wallace, who owns Olde Blind Dog and most of the land in Crabapple along with Adam Orkin, want MK and LL to be elected so badly? It is because AT and JZB are the only council members who insist they follow the rules.
The Fear Game ain't gonna work this time and those rules have been broken by the very same folks who claim to play by them.
Remember When.... During the last two elections for Milton City Council the other side was so nasty that it worked against them? When Santi used a mailer with a cry baby bully? When Ragsdale did the same with Lockwood? Remember when... It backfired because you all didn't "go there"? Well, you are there now. What hypocrisy. I'll vote for the candidate who doesn't sling mud and venom by way of their supporters. Thank you for making the choice now very clear. Transparency at it's best.
