MILTON, Ga. – It's election season once again, and that means candidates are eager to get their message out. Milton's only debate will be Oct. 18 at Stonecreek Church.
Hosted by The Milton Herald and Accessmilton.com, the Milton People's Forum will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last for about 90 minutes.
Each candidate will be asked a series of questions on topics relevant to Milton. They will have 90 seconds to respond. Their opponent will have 30 seconds for rebuttal, and the original respondent will get another 30-second rebuttal. With questions so limited in time, the forum will progress quickly over a wide area of topics. This format will be used both for questions from the moderators as well as for questions from candidates aimed at their fellow candidates.
No campaign material or food is allowed at the forum.
Stonecreek is located at 13540 Hwy. 9 in Milton.
