Reminder: Library meeting April 12 at City Hall.

By Accessmilton.com

Make sure your input is heard.
MILTON, Ga., April 11, 2011 - Don't forget that on Tuesday, April 12 the Atlanta-Fulton County Library System will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. in Milton City Hall to discuss what residents would like to see in the planned city library.

The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, suite 107 E (click here for a map of City Hall). Click here for directions to City Hall, located at 13000 Deerfield Parkway.

Please note that the site for the new library has not been chosen. That decision is left to the Library Board of Trustees, which will send its recommendations to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners.

Milton's new library is tentatively scheduled to open in 2013. It will be one of eight new facilities outlined in Phase One of the system's plan. Funding comes from a 2008 referendum passed by voters.

If you are not able to attend, input can also be submitted in the following ways:
Online survey: www.afpls.org, see "Building for the Future"
Email: librarycomments@fultoncountyga.gov
Fax: 404-335-5291
Mail: Branch Services, Central Library, One Margaret Mitchell Square, Atlanta, GA 30303
Contact Anne Haimes, Group Branch Manager, at 404-730-1881 or anne.haimes@fultoncountyga.gov if you have any questions about this process.

Would the statement be true: Access Milton's political preference is Tea Party?

Post 7:55 am. What in the world are you trying to do? Guess just stirring up more problems as usual.

I think 7:55 might of been referring to the last post?

7:55pm -

We are more than happy to post any information regarding those aspiring for public office nationally or locally.

We have been contacted by individuals in support of Herman Cain to post his news releases on Accessmilton.com.

If you have a candidate that you would like us to include, feel free to let us know.

All the best,
