A Milton historical society, a non-city related historical group, will hold an organizing meeting Thursday, Sept. 15 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bethwell Community Center, 2565 Hopewell Road in Milton.
This group is looking for the level of interest for a historical society in the community and the direction such a group would go. Though not affiliated with the city, it will feature at least four members of the current city-sponsored Historic Preservation Commission.
