Milton Police Chief Deborah Harrell is one of just 30 law
enforcement executives from across the country chosen to attend the 16th
National Law Enforcement Leadership Institute on Violence Against Women.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for Milton to benefit from the best methods of prevention and response to crimes against women,” said Harrell. “It is an honor and a privilege to have been chosen to attend.”
Harrell’s cost to attend the Institute is supported by a grant to the IACP from the Department of Justice, Office on Violence Against Women.
The International Association of Chiefs of Police is the world's oldest and largest non-profit membership organization of police executives, with more than 22,500 members in 108 different countries.
