If you want to keep them, you better do something.

i think you mean bordering

Don't look at this on an emotional level. Make business decisions. Is there current vacancies? What is the length of time to fill a vacancy? What is the turnover rate?

It's interesting because I am sure they set the salary based on the idea that this would be a quiet bedroom community, but our violent crime rate is looking more like Roswell now - maybe it is time to revisit...

7:47...HOW MUCH DOES THE CITY PAY YOU? I BET YOU ARE A HIGH RANKING OFFICIAL AND WANT TO KEEP YOUR HIGH PRICED WAISTE OF SPACE. 1)VACANCY? ALLWAYS
2) LENGTH OF TIME TO FILL? YOU CAN DO IT FAST BUT THEN THEY GET FIRED OR "ASKED TO RESIGN" IN A YEAR SO....
3) TURNOVER RATE? ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK ONE OFFICER. THE CITY HAS BEEN AROUND 5 YEARS AND MOST THE OFFICERS LESS THAN 2. LITTLE GROWTH.
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS GROWN AT NEARLY 3 TIMES THE POLICE. BOTTOM LINE IS THIS....THE DEPARTMENT NEEDS A HOUSE CLEANING.

The ex mouthpiece of APD should be the first to go.

Yup, from the drunk mayor to the so called polive chief

Maybe the blog master should require an aptitude test prior to anyone posting their comments. It might help the police chief weed out any unqualified future applicants.

maybe the blog-master should take a spelling test prior to posting new polls
