Enloe's a jerk for making us aware that we are under protected. When something happens at your house, and you are not responded to because our officers are spread to thin, than maybe you will get it. No, actually, I don't think you would get it even then.

If you lived in Alpharetta and had an emergency and were not responded to quickly enough and something horrible happened because the police were busy helping Milton police respond, how would you feel as an Alpharetta citizen?

It's going to get to the point where eventually city council will wake up. Too bad the theives that hit Bailey's house didn't hit Thurman, Lockwood, Lusk or Hewitt, maybe then they'd feel it's important to have a strong police force. After all isn't public safety number one as a leader for our city?

Apparently not with the motley crew we have currently.

This is important news. Quality.

If you want more police on the beat, let the city council know you are willing to pay more taxes for the service. You can't have it both ways with lower taxes but, more city paychecks.

Just think what the $250,000 price tag for the "historic house" could have been better used for. Maybe hire two more officers plus a well deserved bonus for the officers we now have.
