ATLANTA (January 12, 2011) – Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) has been appointed to several influential committees for the 2011-2012 Term by the Senate Committee on Assignments. Albers will serve as vice-chairman of the Public Safety and Science and Technology committees and as a member of the Economic Development, Education and Ethics committees.
“It’s an honor to have been named vice-chairman of two very important committees in my first term as a state senator,” said Albers. “I look forward to serving on each of these committees and working with my colleagues to develop targeted legislation that will benefit all Georgians.”
The 152nd Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly convened this week at the State Capitol.
