Looking for the perfect holiday gift for those who want to get serious about fitness? Maybe you’re searching for a convenient exercise regiment to help make those New Year’s resolutions a reality. The City of Milton and CorePhysique have got you covered.
The third 12-class session of the city’s popular fitness camp begins Jan. 5 and lasts through the end of the month.
The thrice weekly camps have been a hit, with every camper seeing inches and pounds lost and improvements in their overall physical assessment, said Kolleen Riddick, founder of CorePhysique. Nearly everyone who starts one camp elects to take more, she said.
Tara Chambers and her husband Neil both take classes – he at 5:45 a.m. and she at 7:30 a.m. They’ve both been involved since the launch of the program in October, and Tara said it’s made a profound difference in their family.
“My kids are always hearing us talking about our exercise,”
she said. “It’s just become a part of our everyday lives.”
