Home Invasion Robbery Arrests

On April 18, 2009, a home invasion robbery occurred at 560 Tullamore Way. The victim walked in on two black males that were in the process of burglarizing an office that was located above his garage. The burglary suspects brandished firearms, secured the victim, took several articles, and left the scene.

On May 31, 2009, another home invasion robbery occurred in the City of Alpharetta. A lookout was broadcast regarding a vehicle that was stolen in this robbery. Milton Officer J Wong observed the stolen vehicle on GA 400. When backup officers from the Alpharetta Police Department caught up with Officer Wong, a traffic stop was attempted, and the suspects attempted to elude the police. A vehicle pursuit was initiated and the suspects were followed into the City of Atlanta. The pursuit was terminated when the suspects wrecked the stolen car that they were driving. Demarkus Jamal Grier and Demarcus Enrickya Graham were taken into custody on Alpharetta Police charges.

Milton Detective K Barry was the investigator assigned to the Tullamore Way home invasion case. Because there were similarities in the Alpharetta and Milton home invasions, Demarkus Grier and Demarcus Graham became suspects in the Milton case. Detective Barry’s investigation lead to warrants being issued for Demarkus Grier and Demarcus Graham regarding the Milton home invasion.
Grier and Graham are presently in the Fulton County Jail. Detective Barry charged both suspects with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, False Imprisonment, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime.

Many thanks to Capt. Shawn McCarty of the Milton Police Department for providing this information.
