A woman was fatally stabbed and a man was seriously wounded early Thursday during a domestic fight at an apartment complex in Milton.
Officers responded shortly after midnight to a report of a stabbing at the North Park apartments off Deerfield Parkway and found a woman dead and a man seriously injured in a breezeway outside their apartment, Milton police Lt. Shawn McCarty said.
Both had been stabbed, McCarty said. The man, who McCarty described as the suspect in the case, was taken to North Fulton Regional Hospital, where he was in critical condition.
McCarty said investigators were not sure of the exact relationship between the two, who were both in their early 30s. Their names have not been releaased.
A boy about 5 years old was taken into protective custody after the incident, he said.

If Alan Tart would have focussed more on crime in his district instead of trying to run off a City manager, then possibly this would not have happend.
Oh but "Sewer", "Sewer", "Sewer" he cries! "It's the will of the people he says. What about the dead woman?
Now Alan Tart is responsible for a domestic fight? How absolutely despicable the comments are. If the above bloggers were at all concerned about the dead woman then they could have expressed some sensitivity and maturity.
But no they had to turn it into a sick political statement in an effort to be 'clever and funny' and in so doing merely disrespect the disceased and what is a very sad and unfortunate situation.
Childish and pathetic does not even begin to describe your blogs.

Mr. Tart dosent care who he hurts. He will trash the whole city as long as "he" is protected.
That is low. Blaming Tart for someones death. Certainly does not help your fight against him.
He is only fighting himself?
Does anyone know where BIll Bailey and Daisy have been during this? Maybe they could have prevented the crime.
"He is only fighting himself?"
Is that like boxing the clown?
The blame goes back to Bob Fulton, Mike Kenn, and several local Milton-dwelling (safely non-sewer) apartment building developers (think Pest Control). Cramming thousands of high density apartments in what was once a relatively crime free area. Apartments = crime.
What about "plastic" row houses on sewer? Dpn't they tend to breed crime?
The woman who died was a very kind and loving mother and friend to many. Apartments do not equal crime! Mean people are to blame. And why didn't anyone step in to help her instead of looking out the window as if it were a show? People are supposed to help their neighbors.
Alan Tart was having a sewer "pep rally" at the club house while David was cutting the grass. No one could hear her.
what is wrong with you people, someone mom was killed and the only thing you guys think about is gov. there was someone who saw them fighting and no one try to stop the fight, thats the problem in todays world, i hate to think that more than one person saw this, yet was to lazy to get out and do something for your neighbor.
Hey, it was a mistake to have elected the little fellow. Next time we will know?
