A request for sewer extension filed by Mr. Dennis Potts was received by City of Milton staff on October 24, 2007. Mr. Potts filed this same request -- along with other developers John McMillan and Ken Morton -- earlier this year and then withdrew it surrounding public outcry and controversy among certain council members who were prepared to vote for sewer extension as reflected in the meeting minutes and as reported by the Milton Herald on May 9. This weeks Herald also highlights the issues of sewer vs septic, Wright, Jason. "Experts look at the facts about Milton's septic vs. sewer debate." Milton Herald 11/01/2007:10. As was discussed during earlier meetings on this issue this request for sewer extension is in direct conflict with the long-standing no sewer, no inter-basin transfer policies of this area.
Furthermore, as stated by Community Development Director for Alpharetta, Diana Wheeler, Wright, Jason. "Experts look at the facts about Milton's septic vs. sewer debate." Milton Herald 11/01/2007 : 10, "There is no question about it" she said. "You have to have an acre for septic, with sewer there's no land relationship." She went on to say that, "she has not seen a case where sewer did not mean more density."
Please communicate your opinions and plan to attend the Thursday, December 6th Milton City Council meeting where this will be discussed. This is yet another reason that the upcoming, Tuesday, November 6th elections are so critical for the future of our collective community. We need strong, positive leadership that is citizen focused...not just through words but through demonstrated actions.

Moe....Rig has been seen riding around in a truck with Mr. Potts in a truck with Mohrig, Santi, and O'Brien signs all over it.
No wonder at the meeting I attended on Monday night on Wood Road that Rick and Neal danced around the sewer issue and would not come out and say they actually would not support this.
Thank you for informing us of Mr. Pott's request.
Does anyone know if the rumor about Mr. Potts being behind the ethics charge agaist Zahner Bailey is true?
Bob Moheb in May at a Planning Commission Meeting, on this topic, said, "sewer doesn't mean increased density necessarily". He saw no reason not to allow Mr. Potts sewer extension. He also said, "the Design Review Committee will be the ones to prevent sewer from coming into our City, so what is the big deal about allowing sewer in this instance". If you want to hear it for yourself, request the audio tapes of the meeting at City Hall. This is public record for anyone who wants it. So if we get 3 people on the Design Review Committee that favor sewer in the future, what is to prevent Milton from going sewer if we don't adopt and stick to our no-sewer policy? This proves Moheb's intentions and allegiance.
I was there at this meeting. Bob Moheb is Rick Mohrig's appointed Planning Commissioner. Bob Moheb is very close to John McMillian, who is Neal O'Brien's appointment. So tell me there is no connection or link to these individuals or their true intentions.
I also saw John McMillian pat Bob Moheb on the back over and over again at the City Council Meeting several weeks ago when McMillian showed up to speak to Council on Chatham's General Store idea and have his "Milton Tax Payers Association" meeting 30 minutes prior to the City Council Meeting. He later retracted and apologized in an email to the community for his tactics. This is the meeting that everyone suspected Bob Moheb was for sure using drugs of some sort, since he couldn't find the microphone, nor speak coherently.
These are the type of people we have representing the PEOPLE of this City. Time to make a change everyone! Vote for Alan Tart, and Burt Hewitt! These guys represent the voice of the people of Milton!
Mr. Pott's is bitter with Julie and the Mayor and DiAversa since they are not for compromising the sewer issue unlike others on Council. Once a compromise is made, then anyone can come and use Mr. Pott's situation as a way to get their foot in the door for sewer extension elsewhere in Milton.
It is unfortunate for Mr. Potts since he is surrounded by sewer. He'll just have to sell his property for what it is worth the way it is currently zoned, and not for what it would be worth with sewer and possible commercialism on it.

This just in...
Bob Moheb seen drinking water directly from sewer...
His irrational behaviour now has an explanation...
LMAO!

Question: Were you or were you not spoken to by the City Manager and or any others at City Hall about your appointed Planning Commissioner, Bob Moheb's suspected drug use?
Please answer the question!!
Inquiring minds want to know!
Jesus -- this thing is like Alien. Just when you think it's dead ....
Hey Alien......who or what is thought to be dead?
Hey, what's up with a CPA who doesn't know about state tax incentive programs?
THERE IS A DARK CLOUD OVER CITY HALL... everyone is so involved in the upcoming election (and rightly so), but no one is even noticing what is happening at City Hall. I understand an email was recently circulated to the Mayor and Council from our Interim City Manager, Chris Lagerbloom, where he indicates that the former City Treasurer, Carol Wolfe, is begging to come back! COME ON!!! She is the one who is truly responsible for the missed insurance money. It's fact that the former City Manager reminded Ms. Wolfe on at least two occasions prior to the deadline that she needed to file the paperwork to get the money for the City... she blew it off. Well, once the cat was out of the bag, she began her underhanded plan to secure a position with CH2MHill... which she "sprung" on the Mayor and Council AFTER they negotiated to remove the former City Manager after HE was blamed for this error. She was planning this departure during this entire process all the while knowing she was the one who was responsible. She sat in front of Mayor and Council week after week knowing she was a liar and a deceiver. Also, her reasons to "leave the City and go to CH2MHill was because she could no longer work the hours and be away from her children..." so, what has changed now? Did her children go away? She wants to come back? This shows her reasons were not "her family" Or, is the honeymoon with CH2MHill over already? Have they gotten wise that she is truly incompetent and now she is working behind her new employer's back to secure another position? She is not a loyal employee to anyone!!! She has been at City Hall every week since her "send-off" which has really been a joke. She has the public safety department so convinced they cannot opereate without her, so she used them to try and win her job back (the email). There are numerous staff in the finance department, but they cannot seem to do anything without Ms. Wolfe's help??? If they are so incompetent, then maybe they need to go as well! Also, the City Manager appears to not be able to make any decisions without Ms. Wolfe's help... it's also a huge conflict of interest that He is not only the City Manager, but ALSO the City Treasurer... he has complete control of the City's funds. DOES NO ONE ELSE SEE THIS AS A PROBLEM? Wake up fellow Milton Citizens... while everyone is scurrying around worried about the elections, City Hall is being dominated by this "former" employee and she is running the show with the blessing of the Interim City Manager! I smell a rat in the City's finances... please, someone stop this woman from coming back to City Hall to create even more damage. We are lucky that Mr. Lagerbloom used the City's email system to make his "official" request on behalf of Ms. Wolfe. Please, please, keep one eye on the election and the other on City Hall... it is being raped right in front of our noses. WE MUST PROTECT OUR CITY HALL AND OUR FINANCES.
I AM A TRULY CONCERNED CITIZEN... Thank you to anyone who can help get Ms. Wolfe finally removed for good, let the City heal. We need to begin our search for a truly QUALIFIED City Treasurer and WE NEED a QUALIFIED City Manager... I do not even see either of these positions being advertised... HELP US!!!
Also... do not forget to VOTE this Tuesday... it's not a right, but a privilege!!!
Former city manager would not play by JJ rule and was dismissed.
Again, IS CURRENT ACTING CITY MAMAGER PLAYING BY HER RULE? If so you'll have to live with it as long as fab4 are onboard.
ALL THE MORE REASON TO VOTE BAILEY, HEWITT AND TART!!!
TIME TO REMOVE JJ's CHOKE HOLD!!!
You are going to slam Carol Wolfe and Chris Lagerbloom, and Aaron Bovos, but you are okay with Rick Mohrig's appointed Planning Commissioner doing drugs. Right. Got it. This guy is making decisions and influencing decisions for our City, and you are okay with that. Good one.
There is the dark cloud. A Congressman can get ousted on national television for his foot touching an undercover police officer's foot in a bathroom, but we can't get a drug using volunteer on our Planning Commission to step down. Explain that one!
Who is slamming Aaron Bovos??
He was slammed very hard by fab4...no need to slam again.
Hopefully in the end fab4 will be slammed...what goes around comes around!!
No idea as to how The Moheb can be removed.. fab4 might have answer.
One track minds, that's all I read is one track minds. You are all so deeply engrossed in helping your "person" win, that's all you see. You don't even bother reading the comments in its entirety, you just blunder out once again your point which is pointless. Moheb doesn't deserve the time and energy you are all devoting your time and efforts to. City Hall could come to shambles and all you can say is get Moheb out!! No wonder the state of Milton is in such a mess. I wonder what you will talk about next week.... Remember, a mind is a terrible thing to waste?? Okay, now tell me again about Moheb, I'll listen to you as much as you are all listening to what people are trying to tell you.
Do you have E S P or is it E S P N ??
What ever happened to right to vote??? It seems that the residents are playing a Milton game of surviror. What is up with these alliances?? Can't anyone vote for an individual?? It is a shame that to have to be told to vote for inexperienced people for power. This whole election is all about power. Many people have been hurt for the sake of power hungry people. Sounds like there is trouble at City Hall and people are dropping off - not too many good ones left. Does anyone care to keep the dedicated few? Milton has lost a lot of great staff because of politics. We are the laughing/gossip subject all over the state. Politicians come and go but staff normally stays. Keep it up!!!
I totally agree that these "supporters" cannot see the forest for the trees... City Hall IS falling into corrupt hands and we are the laughing stock of the State... do none of you "supporters" even care? After Tuesday, everyone will have to go back to their daily lives and live with the outcome... City Hall will still have to live with all the garbage it's being given. No one is running City Hall EXCEPT for Carol Wolfe and her mighty possey of Chris Lagerbloom and all his mighty men! Good people have left and I predict others will follow if something does not change. It's going to take us, the citizens of Milton, to quit our self-serving attitudes and listen to what people are saying. While you're out there chasing the indians... the chiefs are robbing and stealing and raping the City. Unfortunately, it seems the Mayor has even succombed to the evil duo... Lagerbloom, you'd better hope that the Mayor's team gets in... you need to go back to Public Safety before you totally ruin the City of Milton! THE MESS AT CITY HALL HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH WHO WINS OR LOSES... CAROL WOLFE AND CHRIS LAGERBLOOM HAVE GOT TO GO!!!
Sounds like trouble at City Hall. They appear to be trying to tell you something. Let's focus on what really matters!
Oh Brother! Talk about Bill O'Reilly. Someone is going to win and someone is going to lose so whatever the outcome we will all have to live with it until the next elections. Better learn how to deal with dissapointment in a "constructive, healthy way" if it's not your candidate that wins.
Maybe we can have a big sign burning campaign, oh, woops, burn ban in effect!
Like it's a news flash that there is controversy or differing opinions in government.
