We are receiving word that a poaching bust has taken place on Bethany Road between Mayfield and Providence.
At approximately 1pm today, two Milton Police cruisers and a GA DNR Truck had blocked a late model burgany Ford Ranger truck on the right of way at Bethany Road near the Providence / Bethany Intersections. There was no sign of the officials or
person in question at this time. Therefore, it is believed they were searching for
a suspect out of sight.
We are in the process of reaching out to the Milton Police Department in the hopes of
getting further clarification on what has taken place.
This area of Milton has been known for poaching activity for many years.
