Fulton County Manager Thomas Andrews recently provided an update on the environmental remediation work being conducted at Providence Park in Milton. The park has been closed since 2004 after numerous 55-gallon drums of hazardous material were discovered on the site. Andrews says the final phase of work, currently pending approval from the Environmental Protection Agency, will cost between $450,000 and $600,000 and take three years to complete.
