Yes. the second Thursday of the month is once again upon us, so please let this message serve as your reminder that we will be meeting at 6:00 p.m. at the Birmingham Fire Station. The agenda is attached, but be thinking particularly about the Great American Cleanup/Day of Service at Birmingham Park on April 25, as we will need lots of help in recruiting, coordinating , planning and developing logistics for the event, on which we are working very closely with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (the Mormon Church), which is providing a lot of impetus, energy and skillful planning under the leadership of longtime resident of Gordon Hunter, new arrival Jim Brown who directed a number of environmental cleanup activities in Oregon where he previously lived, and a number of other leaders in their church.

Oh great, let a church congregation volunteer to do a good deed and the "Milton Grows Green", directed by Julie and Jon Zahner Bailey, swoops in to smother it!
"Hey, Look at me"!
I've heard JZB is a control freak on MGG, but why is Jon McPhail included in your comment?
Frankly, all the references to churchy stuff bothers me a little. Why does that matter? Why can't people just refer to "organization".
Jon must be her new "boy"?
Once again we hear from the armchair experts. Get up from your chairs and DO something instead of spreading hate.
