***DANGEROUS DRIVER ALERT***

Offending Vehicle Parked At Kauffman Tire on HWY 9.

DATE: Tuesday, August 5, 2008.
LOCATION: Bethany Road between Mayfield and Providence.
TAG: CY5-4NX / Fulton Tags.
TIME: Approx. 9:30am.

SITUATION: A young white male on a yellow motorcycle was driving at a high rate of speed north on Bethany Road. The Milton resident who witnessed this estimated that he was driving in the range of 70 to 80mph. The offending driver attempted to pass cars twice heading north. Bethany Road does not allow passing and has a double yellow line with a posted 45mph speed limit. Witness was able to catch up with the suspect due to him being unable to pass other cars headed north. Witness was able to follow him up to Bethany Bend at which time he pulled into the Wendy's parking lot off of HWY 9. Witness called Public Safety Director Chris Lagerbloom and reported the incident.

It is believed that this individual works at Kauffman Tire off of Hwy 9 as his motorcyle was there an hour after this incident.

Do you have a driver who is making your neighborhood dangerous? If so, please write down the tag number, make and color of the vehicle as well as location and time of day. If you have a camera, take a picture of the vehicle. DO NOT CONFRONT THE OFFENDING DRIVER. After which, contact the City of Milton at 678 242 2500 and ask to speak with our Police Department.

You can also email this information to us at sales@magnoliamedias.com / Subject Line: Dangerous Driver and we will share this information with the public in our news section.

Remember, together we can make Milton safe for all who live here!

It would be a really good idea for the Milton police to patrol for speeders on these roads, ie. Bethany, etc. Where have they been lately? It's only going to get worse as school starts next week.

Here's a link to some more places you can post pictures of bad drivers:

All:

We encourage open diaolog regarding any topics posted in this news blog. However, we will not tolerate any use of vulgarity.

We have received numerous reports of this individual driving in a high rate of speed throughout Milton.

It is our hope that he stays within the speed limit to not only keep our residents safe, but himself as well.

This is another blatant lie by city "officials". there has not been multiple reports, this gentleman was harassed by a bored (soccer mom) who almost caused two accidents in the process of trying to chase him down. Secondly, I find it a very gross decision to post peoples tags online. This is a danger to the individuals who own the vehicle. Unlucky for this lady is the fact she also made herself known. The fact Devildog didn't take her tag and submit it to other sites is sheer sign of his character.

This is the kind of self empowerment that people give off on the daily basis in this area. She is lucky HER tag wasn't posted on a hate site, bringing harassment to her home. Act's like this are what create environments where people get hurt.

Keep in mind "Soccer mom", you chase me down, and verbally assault me, I will drop you with a taser without a seconds thought. We'll see who is "going to jail buddy".

In retrospect, I urge the blog admins to remove pictures of his tag before legal action is taken. It is LAW forbidding you to post peoples tags and information.

Secondly, I'm going to her house, taking pictures of her van.. verbally assaulting her, then reporting her for reckless driving. :)
