News From Tina D'Aversa

Dear Milton Neighbor,

I am proud to support my friend and long-time colleague, Karen Handel for Governor of our great state of Georgia.

Please join your neighbors and friends at the home of Mayor Joe Lockwood and Dawn Lockwood to show your support.

I look forward to seeing you Tuesday at 6:00 to celebrate Karen Handel for Governor (invitation below).

Is shehosting? Her audacity knows no bounds!

What audacity?

All she is doing is voicing her support for Handel (whom she's known for years) and reaching out to her distribution list asking them to support and attend the fundraiser at Joe's.

BIG DEAL!!!

I saw Karen on TV say something like, "Running this council meeting tonight is like watching over a bunch of inebriated high school teens"

I've voted for her ever sence.

I think it's good for Tina that she continues to send out her messages instead of slinking off into the sunset. But she should dump the oddly worded slogan "Protecting and Preserving ALL of Milton"

What is she hoping to preserve in her district - the traffic?

I think these slogans would be more appropriate for the 2011 candidates.

JZB: "Protecting and Preserving MY equestrian-centric corner of Milton"

Alan Tart: "Me too"

Another good reason to vote for John Oxendine!

Oxendine? With his unethical contributions? Read the newspapers, please.

I think we have enough unethical people in power now.

I think it is good that Tina still wants to sty involved. But, I will be hard pressed to vote for a person who does not have a college degree.

How can she make education a priority for the state when she did not make it one in her own personal life?

10:14 poster, you are giving too much credit to what you read in the AJC.

I'm going to vote for whoever Jan Jones endorses. Has she backed anyone yet?

It's very interesting that Tina sent this out but then did not show up at the event!

Anonymous said...

So because she personally cannot attend she should not send the invite out to anyone else that may be interested?

Tina was teaching so she could not make it between 6 and 8 p.m. Simple as that!

What does she teach? Surely not ethics.

She teaches government speak.

I wish that I could have an opportunity to discuss education with the poster who is adamant that a Governor must have a college degree. Bill Gates and many other successful people are very well educated in many fields without a four-year degree.
