Learn about Sunday Sales.

In the Nov. 8 municipal election, voters overwhelmingly chose to pass the special referendum regarding Package Sales of Alcoholic Beverages on Sundays.

Starting Nov. 19, retailers with a valid alcohol license in the City of Milton can sell distilled spirits, wine and beer on Sunday between the hours of 12:30 and 11:30 p.m.

There are no additional fees or requirements for valid license holders. For more information, contact City Clerk Sudie Gordon at 678-242-2522 or sudie.gordon@cityofmiltonga.us.

Drink more, vote even less in this town. Are we sure there are 30,000 in this town? Are they actually counting people, or horses and livestock too?

This town is going to Hell, I tell ya. Y'all will be sitting on your front porches, shooting guns after dark, swigging the devil's brew. The sheep on the hill should be afraid.

What rock did you crawl out from under? We should have the right to buy a bottle of wine any day of the week like the other 48 states do. Really? "the devils brew"...

If you read Matthew 15:11 and Luke 7:33-35, you'll see that Jesus drank wine and approved of it's moderate consumption.
Anyways, what justification does a nearly two-thousand year old book with speaking snakes, flawed mathematics, and other unobserved events (*cough* scientifically impossibilities such as virgin birth *cough*) have to dictate personal opinion and take away our "god-given" free will? It's hypocritical.
It's also not faith. It's misdirection.
