MILTON, Ga. – A home on Birmingham Highway was burgled Feb. 11 with nearly $1,500 worth of jewelry stolen.

The Milton homeowners returned at 6 p.m. to find someone entered the residence through a back door, breaking the glass to turn a deadbolt.

While most of the home was untouched, a jewelry box in the master bedroom was taken, which included a silver horse bracelet, a heart-shaped pin and a ring with a dolphin on it.
