Where was the lunatic before the final names came to be? Now he starts to complain? Typical uninvolved until now citizen, whining after the fact.

Is that the guy who went "nuts" on the Bethany Bend Facebook page about a name before they deleted all the posts? Completely irrational if it is the same individual. Would make sense now. Borderline.

The school was announced to be built for over two years, the redistricting process took a year to complete, the naming process has been the same for over 20 years, and this guy wants to step in midstream of the process and demand the entire process be changed for him and his neighbors because he is mad he was redistricted out of Milton high school and wants to keep Milton in the name of the new school my guess is over the reputation MHS has made for itself for the last several decades! Wow! Prima donna we have here. Why didn't he speak up about this process just until now it's affecting him? Where was he
when they named the recent Birmingham Falls, or any of the newer schools? Didn't hear him stating all the parents should get one vote for those schools. What is the big deal in having Milton in the name? It won't make it MHS by tagging the name.
Time to grow up and move on to more important things in life.

Lunitic is an understatement! He consistantly name drops that he went to Stanford. Well, book smart does not make you street smart and going to Stanford most certainly doesn't mean you have any common scense! It is apparent this clown has neither. His wife has also been know to posses these same talants as well as being able to construct emails on the level of a 5th grader. They are a match made in heaven!

  8. I think it great that someone finally speaks up for the community and does not sit on their hands like all you talkers....

    ReplyDelete
  9. why is someone a lunatic for wanting a vote from the public? sounds like you are the lunatic Anonymous said....

    ReplyDelete
  10. In law school we read arguments from both sides all the time. It is funny to read some of these posts. Usually when someone does not have a valid point to make they call someone a lunatic or "nuts". This person or lady must have been making a lot of sense since the other side's arguments for not having Milton in the name are not very strong. I think you have to play to your strengths as a new city like Milton is. Why would you run away from it? Sounds like Anonymous and these other posts are way off. Big Kudos for whomever these people are because that just makes the most sense in my book.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Also, what is so funny about these posts is that there are posts at 4:33 A.M. and 6:27 AM. and 6:55 AM. Did you just off work from your loser job? Or are you angry about your life and now can't sleep?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lastly, just because a process is 20 years old does not mean it works. Ask the Soviet Union who had power for longer than that...how is that working out? The argument also about Birmingham Falls is quite entertaining as well. Do you carry your elementary school with you when you apply for colleges and your first job? Hey everyone I went to Main Street Elementary I hope you hire me...Your High School name goes with you forever. Colleges also recognize your respective school system annually so why would anyone walk away from a strength which is the Milton name. It is very interesting to know there are people out there fighting for this since there is a MINORITY who do not want the name. Kind of funny.

I believe he is being called a lunatic for the way he conveys his message and approaches people, not for the reason he wants the name Milton. It's all in the delivery.

    ReplyDelete
  14. That is not what I heard anonymous. I heard he has great points especially from what I see in this TV interview. Why is a vote not taking place after all? His delivery on camera is outstanding. Anonymous also say, "His wife has also been know to posses these same talants as well as being able to construct emails on the level of a 5th grader" This e-mail has many spelling errors as well. It is the internet. People use iPhones, tablets, a blackberry for example....what is your excuse while sitting on the computer?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Anonymous5:43 AM

No one is a lunatic for speaking up, it's when someone demands to change the procedure after it's already in process because they find out that Milton may not be in the name. If this person was so angry about the naming process than he should have and indeed had years to address this "voting" issues way before now at the 11 th hour. No one is opposed to voting on the name, that's silly. He should have brought this to the attention of the community and the BOE a long time ago. If you didn't like the process why is he only speaking up now and never said a peep or cared when any of the other schools around here were named?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anonymous5:49 AM

So it's not impotent to have a vote for the naming of elementary schools or middle schools? Only high schools because they go on your college resume? So what this is really about is not the right to vote but about finding a way to whine about the process to get ones way? The real issue is this guy wants " Milton " in the name because he lives in white columns and is angry his kids won't benefit from the established reputation that is recognized by colleges and recruiters around the country.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous5:51 AM

Whoops Hah hah "important" not the other! Funny typo!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Anonymous6:35 AM

Why can't the kids be judged on their high school grades, scores and accomplishments instead of a school's reputation? It doesn't matter how outstanding the reputation is if your kid isn't outstanding.

  19. John Klein12:06 PM

Thank you, Milton4Life. I don't know you, I don't know Paul Nickel, and I don't have a "kid" going to the new high school. But you saw anonymous cowards piling on here. 6:27 AM may even curently hold office; why else would they refer to Nickel perjoratively as a "citizen"? Now that you called them out, there's some backpedaling...

    ReplyDelete
  20. What is funny Anonymous is that you say this person is just now speaking out? Yes you are right. He talks about a public vote now because nobody was made aware of the naming process until a few weeks ago and the names were not shared correctly !! Plus these are awful suggestions for the HS names just my opinion. Listen to the TV interview. He is asking for a public vote because nobody knows about it. Naming committee representatives did not do their jobs. This is quite obvious in my community and have also heard he is right about White Columns and other big communities. The naming committee people dropped the ball and shared e-mails 2 hours before the meeting, the night before, or not at all. Did they have an agenda? It is obvious with that deviant beahvior they did ! I know that my community was not alerted to this "old" archaic process nor were the names shared. Why are we not voing Anonymous? You said, that it is "silly". Why then are you against it? You contradict yourself a lot here. Let's do a vote of what the people of Milton want. It is obvious this has not occurred. You are flip flopping. All you can do is name call this person who is speaking up for himself, his community, and even speaking for yourself. All of us are getting the short end of the stick here by not being allowed to vote. I am actually starting to like this guy's thoughts over yours. His points are stronger. You even state that not voting would be a "silly" thing. Then why are you not pushing for it? You must be afraid of the vote because it seems you will not get your way or your agenda accomplished so all you can do is make fun of this person. That is a weak way of defending your argument and a sure sign that you know the other side has stronger arguments Mr./Ms. Anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  21. and another thing...you say this guy is just speaking up right now...well the process has been made public and the names have been barely shared in the last couple of weeks and what would all that matter if he decided to challenge the broken process now? The point is the process is flawed and that he is rightfully challenging this. He is getting me very curious on why there is not a vote taking place !

How is using an ID that was just created in the past few weeks any different than posting anonymously?

Before you jump on an assumption, it's not me posting any of those comments, but you can't really call them out for posting anonymously when you're practically doing the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Anonymous5:34 PM

    Amen Travis.
At the end of the day every parent who was involved in the redistricting meetings earlier this year is aware the new school needs a name, those who have kids who will go there know this, if they really really felt this was a big deal they would all be calling and emailing the BOE a long time ago. People just are not that concerned about the name. They are However concerned about not having a job for a year or longer, not being able to sell a home, the rising prices of groceries and the unstable economy, and the direction of our nation and how to keep paying their bills, NOT the naming of a school.

  26. Anonymous7:00 AM

To be fair, there will be a vote on the name -- by the school board. They are freely elected by voters, and then must make decisions on the voters' behalf. This is how a democratic republic works.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Milton4Life is a UGA student who live in Alpharett and Milton their whole lives and graduated from Milton. You guys make a lot of assumptions. Do not ASSUME ! you know what they say Travis and Anonymous....do not make an ASS out U and ME....that spells ASSUME ! The points made are credible on both sides and I do not have an opinion either way. However, at the moment what I am hearing is stronger for having the Milton name in the HS. It just makes sense. All the other side does when losing an argument is in typical fashion make fun of the other person because they cannot intelligently debate or beat their arguments for a Public Vote. I think that is a major weakness with their contigent whether you win or lose. It shows a lack of professionalism and class when all you can do is worry about who this person is on the BLOG when in fact it is another person's opinion altogether. Deal with it !

    ReplyDelete
  28. We are naming a new HS too> A school located in Milton by the way which will also have more Milton students in it thatn eventually Milton HS will have ! That is very ironic. Why do grocery bills and unemployment have to do with the HS name. Again deflecting the issue from your losing argument(I do not have an opinion by the way)with weak unattached material that has nothing to do with the naming of the HS like groceries is quite frankly ludicrous. I am thankful you are not our principal. Your leadership would be questioned. Again I am not talking about the name of the HS but your communication skills when arguing your facts are really weak and not very crippling. Instead of posting anonymously like others do, or embarassing yourself with using your real name (like Travis does since his comments are worthless, add no value, and make as much sense as a squirrel running into traffic on a busy road),maybe you both should just consult a law firm or type out your thoughts before you post. Right now I heard a bunch of kids whining on the side of the road because nobody bouth their lemonade. It is really emabrassing to read these posts from you guys. Again, whether I agree with the new HS name or disagree is not the issue. It is about your lack of being able to debate and tell all of us why your reasons are stronger. From the oustide looking in it is an easy decision from what this guy or gal is saying...why is the PUBLIC NOT VOTING? Everybody should be alarmed with that issue and it is unfathomable that you live in this country and city and do understand that or want a vote. I guess that is why we do have unemployment and rising gas and grocery prices....

Why are you ou jumping on my case?

I didn't criticize your opinion on the school name, just the fact that you posting with a new ID isn't much different than posting anonymously.

I've lived in Milton my entire life too, but that doesn't make me better than anyone that hasn't.

I haven't made one argument for or against the school name choices here. Not sure where all the hostility came from.

    ReplyDelete
  31. micarnitnot sure what you are saying about an ID ? Also, no hostility here. You can have opinions. Anyways, I can see your comments about opinions on www.newmiltonhighschool.com and on the Bethany Bend site. Your comments are not factual. For example you keep saying the new high school is Southeast? Have you used Googlemaps before? You ask people to look at a map and the funny thing is that you are dead wrong !! The new HS is North and you could possibly say Northeast of Milton HS !! Look it up on Googlemaps ! To be safe you could say Central to avoid an issue with future growth of a 3rd high school moving North of those 2 high schools. It is not South. Not even close. It is North to Northeast....who cares about the name already? Let's just vote on it. Makes more sense because then everybody cannot complain that the Public was not heard. We vote for the President, and you may not like the outcome, but then you deal with it. It is the same with this process. I am also not sure why Milton Hopewell was not considered. The area of town it is near has a big baseball park, has a road nearby called Hopewell, and in North Fulton the Hopewell community or area is known to be Milton....hmmm? very confusing either way. Let's vote on it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. John Klein, I vote in last Presidential election. I voted for neither McCain or Obama and kind of new my candidate would not win. Maybe the new high school will graduate better spellers and more profound thinkers than posters on this blog!

    ReplyDelete
  34. it is the internet duh?! People use iPhones and Blackberrys...there will be spelling errors and mistakes. Focus on the issues Anonymous instead of deflecting the issue about spelling. Most people on this forum if not all can spell fine. making a mistake on iPhone for example or blackberry is not the issue, it is not having a public vote. 30 people speaking for 10,000 is a good idea? you agree with that?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Travis Allen6:46 AM

My comments on that blog regarding the location of the school site are indeed factual, and I believe you may have taken them out of context.

My derision of calling it "North Milton" was not meant to compare the location of the new school to Milton High School. I can plainly see that the new site is further North than Milton High School.

It was to point out that on a map of the City of Milton, the new high school is in the Southeast quadrant of the city limits, so calling it "North Milton" doesn't quite fit when looking at a map of the area.

    ReplyDelete
  36. we finally agree somewhat Travis...thanks for explaining. it is North of Milton HS and actually central to southeast in the town of Milton...regardless, the name is unimportant. A vote for the name is important. We can agree to disagree on that fact but not voting I would say is a Travis-ty. Not a typo.

Why are we not voting? I cannot believe Milton is letting this happen. I think those names taste like cardboard.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Anonymous9:10 PM

Who are all the people on the Naming Committee? what are their names and contact #s? We have now learned that e-amils were sent out out to their neighbors a few hours before the actual vote on names. This was obviously done on purpose. Facts have come out that Crooked Creek and the representatives from White Columns and The Manor sent out nothing or waited until the last minute before these naming committee meetings had their vote. There is an old saying, "What goes around comes around." White Columns, The Manor and Crooked Creek naming committee reps may want to check their mirros in their house. 7 years bad luck going forward for breaking moral codes? What a travesty. I am sure if Milton residents knew who these naming committee representatives were they would have a lot of explaining to do.

    ReplyDelete
  41. the above points exactly ! Finally someone said it. Do you have the e-mails with the dates and time of those e-mails? I had heard this before from some of my parents' neighbors so where this is smoke there is fire

    ReplyDelete
  42. Anonymous9:17 PM

Yes I do have the e-mails of when they were sent the last minute! They will be exposed soon enough. The newspapers are on to them, the TV stations are on to them. They are just waiting patiently. It will be fun to see their reactions when the TV shows up at their door or follows them to the grocery store for some answers. How embarassing? You have one duty for your neighborhood, town, and the students, and some of those on the naming committee cannot even follow through on it properly. They will be exposed soon enough.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous9:25 PM

One of the person's on the naming committee was also very opposed to going to the new high school. She formed a committee and was very vocal about not attending Bethany Bend HS. I believe her name was Maria something? She became the naming committee rep for White Columns I believe. She really disappointed neighbors, other students, and hopefully herself with those last minute e-mails which gave nobody any time to agree or disagree with those names or the process. She represented her neighborhood fraudulently. God was watching though and it always balances itself out

    ReplyDelete
  44. this is getting interesting now. The facts are coming out. Either way not sure why people have to resort to this name calling, or fraudulent behavior as you call it. I would not go as far as to say "fraudulent". I would define it as being immoral though.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Anonymous9:29 PM

As stated earlier, the TV and newspapers are waiting patiently until the final name is chosen and the story is really going to come out. Whomever these naming committee people are should get a super duper fast garage door opener because TV news reporters can be like paparazzis. I cannot wait for these interviews !

    ReplyDelete
  46. Anonymous3:36 AM

You guys are going after the people on the naming committee now because you were not picked to be on the naming committee by the Principal Spurka? Wow, so since you cannot get your way by whining to WSBTV and also coming in so late in the game after the process has been in place for 20 years (why didn't you speak up and try and change the process before???) If you wanted to change the process and have a vote you should have said something sooner than when they were down to the last few names. Give me a break. This is not about the naming committee this is about a few people, mainly one irate guy in the gated section of White Columns who has a case of the butt that his kids won't attend Milton HS and is pissed off that the new school won't contain Milton in the name. If you gave a damn about the process than why didn't you speak up before they started working on naming Bethany Bend. Get off your high horse and leave the people on the naming committee alone. Get over it. Milton is not in the name, accept it. YOU BLEW IT by not being involved and speaking up sooner.

The blame game stops in the mirror folks.

If you wanted to VOTE on the name than why didn't you in the last two years confront or address this issue with the FCBOE? If you had, than they may have changed to procedure to include community votes. Stop crying about it now, its too late.

It doesn't matter who was on the naming committee, they are not to blame for the process implemented by the FCBOE. WOW you people remind me of the Occupy Wallstreet crazies. Why do you blame everyone but yourself for not taking action to change the process sooner over the voting issue? I think the process could be improved as well, but really don't have an opinion as to what they name it. If your kids get the grades than it doesn't matter at the end of the day having the name of "Milton" on your high school resume, now should it?

A story that there really isn't a story here?

  51. Anonymous6:04 AM

Once again -- there will be a public vote: by the school board. They are freely elected and all their votes and contact information are publicized because they choose to be in office. Quit picking on some parents who tried to help out.

What you people are talking about is pure democracy (every single person getting a vote on even inconsequential matters -- like naming a school), which, if you've ever seen it in action, is unwieldy and basically useless. Just accept that a representative system works better -- something that would become abundantly clear should you ever attempt this type of endeavor.

And if you think the media is "waiting to pounce," you really don't know how this corner of the world works. This is nothing new. This type of thing happens literally every time a school is named anywhere in the metro area. An opportunistic reporter might jump on this because it plays well on television, but at the end of the day there's nothing to expose and they're just stirring up some crap for precious face time.

In conclusion, this is just people caught up in small town, small-minded gossip.

excuse me? I live in reddstone and the word is already out that Maria Marcheesie or Marchesi is the person from White Columns causing trouble and wasted the police's time because she had a verbal exchange with someone over the HS naming process. Calling the police is unnecessary and she did this after she verbally assaulted a 2 year old calling her and her mother an idiot for being there.....sounds like sour grapes.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Anonymous9:00 AM

she called because she attacks a 2 year old verbally for being at the meeting and then verbal assaults were exchanged? This lady maria marcheesi is the lunatic. Sad to think the police came.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I had heard this too about the verbal attack on a 2 year old an their family for just having an opinion. At this point who cares what the name of the HS is....what matters is that there was no PUBLIC VOTE. When you vote for a mayor of a city or the President "the Board" or "The Congress" do not make this vote. the public does.....this is not a public vote whomever this other anonymous is.

    ReplyDelete

nobody is worried about grades...we are talking about our twon. Not sure why people are entangling the 2 or 3 things together. You vote as a town on issues like this. There are 24 people on the committee, not 1 person on the committee. This is a policy that the FCBOE has used for years and the naming of this school should not bring forth feelings of rage expressed towards another person period. If it does there is something seriously wrong with this guy. Go get the police report if you want to see what the real true facts are in regard to why the police were called instead of speculating about the people on the committee and sliming a mom who has nothing to do with the process Fulton county uses to name schools. I guess you all are going to come to the rescue of a raging angry lunatic, that it was one mom out of an entire committee who is to blame for the naming of this school now, right? Get a grip. This entire town needs their heads examined. Starting with the White Columns community.

The milton herald stated that not ONE person on the committee voted for Milton to be in the name. Get over it!

    ReplyDelete

Were any of you there when the altercation occurred? did you hear for yourself what he called her? I don't think anyone would call the police unless there was a good reason to. If u didn't witness it Than check your tongue in your mouth with the accusations both ways. The police report would tell exactly what happened and why they were called. Maybe the Milton Herald should print the police report, or Access Milton. I wasn't there either but know how the bloggers love to persecute and attack others behind an anonymous name. And milton4life you are also anonymous until you post your name not your login name.

I heard the whole thing and know the story. The police were pissed at the caller which is the irony of the story ! This Maria Marchese lady who also was on the Naming Committee called this 2 year old and mother an f'ing idiot for speaking their opinion. The father stepped in and told her what he thought about those words to his family and shared some choice words of his own with her. Why did she call the police? She wasted taxpayer money, the police were annoyed with her, no threats were made on either side and the police almost put a fraudulent report warning out on her it was sooo ridiculous. How sad that a person speaks their opinion and this lady points their finger at a little girl and their mother calls them f'ing idiots, does not ethically follow her duty on the Naming Committee, wastes taxpayers dollars by calling the police, and in the end is made fun of by the police and warned not to call again ! I am glad this father stuck up for his family, his town, and exposed the Naming Committee, especially this Maria Marcheesi or Marchese or however it is spelled. Her last minute e-mails to the neighborhood are sad and reckless and so was her behavior. This behavior with the last minute e-mails was done on purpose. No way that it was an accident. Sending an e-mail an hour before the Naming Committee was supposed to pick the name of the new high school? She sends the e-mail out to one of the largest neighborhoods in Milton an hour before the meeting? There is no way she could have gathered feedback in time or intelligent feedback, and this was done by some of the other Naming Committee members as well. I am so glad Wall Street execs, corporate execs, senators, and now this Maria lady is being exposed. A good laugh. I wish I was there. She met her match and got what she deserved for popping off obscenities to a little girl and mother who just wanted to speak their opinion. Chalk one up for the father. John Wayne is still alive !

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anonymous3:46 PM

that is not the whole story....I heard he even thanked her for coming to share her side and then she went off on them. Regardless, not sure why the police were called since no threats were made. She obviously was hurt by what he said, but she called the police? maybe this will teach her not to start being so confrontational with people. Both sides were wrong here but I love the part about the police laughing at her ! I would have too !

  63. Where are the names of Naming Committee members and their contact information? I find the reference of someone being a lunatic very curious. Some body speaks their mind and they are a lunatic? A Naming Committee member and some others are deviant and fraudulent with the process by waiting until the last minute to socialize the names and gather data on the thoughts of the names. This is doen before the final naming committee meeting takes place as well. I think the truth will set us free. I am very sure that once the TV hears more a lesson will be taught to those who abused their short tenure of power

    I doubt that will happen
Milton4Life. it should but it will not. Regardless, I heard the students were voting on the mascot at a middle school soon. Only the kids districted for the new HS can vote. Elementary through HS. At least all the kids get a student vote on the mascot. The community though loses out on a public vote for the school name. Each address or household should be getting a vote for the name of the new HS especially since this lady and other people on the Naming Committee abused the system of either not communicating the names chosen with their respective neighborhoods, or sending e-mails out literally an hour before the name was going to be selected !

Everyone in White Columns knows what a hot head this guy is. The victim of his out of line rage was a mom who was on the committee. Would he have acted like that towards a MAN or if there was a witness other than his wife and chld? NO. He is a bully and acted like a bully. Bully's scream and yell and intimidate others when they don't get their way, and that is exactly what he did to a woman he NEVER met before. You can try and flip it and twist it and color it what ever you want, but everyone in White Columns knows who this guy is because he has lost it before. she did NOTHING but the same thing everyone else did on the committee, which was do a job they were asked to do. If Milton was in the name would Paul Nickel be going bizzerk over the process, NO he wouldn't becuase he wouldn't care at that point. It's not about the voting or the process it's about a bully not getting his way and taking it out on the first person that he came across. How would you know the police were unhappy about the call, I seriously doubt the police would be angry that a woman called the police because she was frightened that a man was going to harm her in some way. Really! Go read the police report! The person defending this guy is either his wife or him. Milton4Life is just a login name, you are anonymous as everyone else on this blog so don't act like you are so noble and righteous.

I thought this story was about the process of the naming of schools. It's lost it's purpose now because it's turned into Milton4Life trying to take the focus off of her husband's behavior.

Whenever a new school is built, everyone knows it needs a new name, so stating that no one knew of the naming process until just a few weeks before the name was chosen is absurd. Especially in this area, as many schools that have been build over the years, we all know that there is a naming process. No one was asleep on this, just YOU.

If you want "Milton" so freaking bad then move into the new district zones and go to Milton High School. Considering your kids are in elementary school according to the blog comments you have plenty of time to move.

I think most in this community really don't care what the name is. Just a few unhappy people making a stink.

The school will make it's own reputation over time, just like all schools do, and given the track record for North Fulton, I bet you it will hold it's own.

I clicked this article because I was interested why there were so many comments on this topic. All about nothing.

There was NO POLICE REPORT !!! The polices said it was a frivolous call ! ASK THEM !! I called the police myself just now since there are so many missing facts and stupidity on both sides regarding this Naming of the HS. Why are we still talking about this nonsense of a verbal assault on a mother and her 2 year-old daughter? Why is a vote not taking place should be the issue? If Milton was in the name how do we know that is the right thing to do as well? We do not know because there is no public vote. It all comes down to having a public vote. It solves all the issues. Whether the name is in the HS now or it is NOT in the name of the new HS does not matter...If you have a public vote nobody can cry spilled milk and it is the fairest thing to do. To be honest it is obvious it will not take place and that is the crime. A vote satisfies everyone in the community since nobody could complain one bit.

why are names and assumptions still being throw around at people?

    $5000 cash?

Can we end this silly debate? A frivolous call to the police by the woman who actually started the verbal assault on a 2 year-old and her mother and then a strong response by a father is worthy of so many comments. this is why nothing gets done

Let's move on please. what a waste of time as I am sure the policeman said to both parties. Since no report was filed it was indeed frivolous and an over-reaction. The police have better things to do with their time than worry about someone's feelings getting hurt ! It was also stated taxpayer's dollars were wasted. This is minor but it is true. Let's move on people.

If the police say it was a frivolous call, and did not charge one person, and no threats were made, why are we still talking about it? Somebody's feelings gets hurt and they call the police? That is the person who needs a talking to. I am sure the police did laugh. I would have been annoyed if I were the police. Enough already though. This is a waste of time still talking about a frivolous call to the police because somebody's feelings got smashed. Maybe the end of the world is going to happen after all......

Only the strong shall survive. Those who abused the system will be exposed eventually. It always works out this way.

Gee are you this passionate about exposing Eric Holder and Obama for Solyndra? No, just want to go after a small town naming committee, that's more important in the scheme of life. Ya'll continue to attack the members when the BOE is the problem. They too big to fall or attack, so you pick on and attack neighbors? Wow!
What kind of people are you? You must be northerners, we don't act like that in the south! No Ma'am!

How about you post your name for $1

we want a real public vote. let's move on already. this is boring ! I love the "must be a northerner" comment. So Southerners do not believe in equality, public voting, or free speech? what an ignorant comment. Also, why are the naming committee members now afraid to post their names and contact #s/e-mails? They must now know they were acting on their own rules and their hands have been caught in the cookie jar. Good for the people on here to call them out.

move on ! this is over ! Did the Naming Committee waste everyone's time? Yes. Is anything going to change? No. Would it be nice if these proud Naming Committee people gave out their contact information? yes. This way they can explain why they waited to share names of the High Schools 30 minutes before the final naming committee meeting started. This was done on purpose and in no way could these naming committee members gather the HS name data. Plus why was the naming committee never advertised?

Northerners are more rude. A product of their society. Just look at the Wall Street protesters. They are pissed off at Wall Street (those who create jobs) instead of being pissed off at the government (the policies passed by this President and administratin) for not having a job. They want your money given to them for doing nothing. So that is Wall Streets fault. No.
Same thing here, you have a few disgruntled residents in White Columns wanting to take it out on the naming committee instead of the government who put the policy in place.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Anonymous7:21 AM

White Columns since you are so good at getting open records from the FCBOE, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and open records the emails in regard to the naming of this school? See exactly how many emails from this community were sent to the FCBOE in regard to changing this process for this school before it began, and all the emails supposedly that this one guy in WC claims (hundreds) of emails were sent to the FDBOE for MIlton to be in the name of the new school. Go get them and I bet you can get Enloe to print them here.

Blah Blah Blah---boring. we already know the process was broken. Even the Committee members have said this, or at least some of them did...this is getting old. Close the blog. No meaningful discussion any longer. The process was broken, names were not printed and shared of those naming committee members, and all the public votes were not tallied.
