Winning "Road To Safety" Video Released.

Double Click To Enlarge Screen.

ALPHARETTA - With a total of four videos submitted for the first annual "Road To Safety" video competition, Alpharetta High School Student Andrew Jehscke took first place with his impressive piece above.

Andrew and his fellow students shot close to 50 hours of video and worked on the production over a few week's time. Eventually, they narrowed the footage down to the maximum time allowed of only two minutes.

While Andrew took away the lion's share of prizes which included a defensive driving course at Atlanta Motor Speedway in addition to a $100 gift certificate at The Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, other competitors did not walk away empty handed.

Movie tickets, pizza dinners, and visa cards were all part of the treasure chest thanks to the wonderful sponsors below:

On the Move Movers, Bobby G's Chicago Eatery, Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub, The Longoria Family, The Moore Family, The Cauley Family, and Staples.

For 2011, wheels are already turning with the focus of including all Fulton County High Schools north of the Chattahoochee River.

Many thanks to Protectmilton.com, Accessmilton.com, and the Fulton County Board of Education for getting this program off the ground.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the "Road To Safety" program, please reach out to the three respective parties mentioned above.

Access Milton writes a story and thanks themselves. Kind of like Tooting Your Own Horn, pun intended.

Wow, this kid has some talent. Way to go. The next Spielberg/Coppola??? Great idea to have this contest to raise awareness.

Access Milton shouldn't write a story about something they sponsored? I suppose the City shouldn't post articles on things they do either, like the Round Up or other events? If the Beacon, or Milton Herald was a sponsor do you not think they would have written a story and mentioned they were a sponsor of the event.

No wonder Tim took the anonymous blogs off, don't blame em. Do it again Tim if it gets bad again. I'll still come to this site and read the articles.

I doubt the City of Milton would say "and many thanks to the wonderful sponsors below" and add their own name. But hey, go ahead and defend the poor judgment and writing ability. While you are at it make Access Milton "anonymous". The kids are alright. They may have even made you a little revenue.

Yeah right, their intent is to make money, create disharmony within the community and the coverup is called POLICE and "Road to Safety".

The "their" is otherwise known as "Access Milton". Taking advantage of our youth for political and/or monetary gain. The supporters, advertisers, politicians, and consumers who partake in their effort to do so, by way of participation "in business" with Access Milton are also involved for the same reasons knowingly or otherwise.

The city of Milton has so many hateful residents it is shameful. Some just wait to bash our outstanding citizens and their positive efforts. Why can't you acknowledge the hard work and long hours put forth. In this case, our young people and driving safely.
Thank you Lisa Cauley and Tim Enloe. We need more people like you.

I can't believe the negative comments on here. As a person not affiliated with the city of Milton, Access Milton or even a resident of Milton, I say "hats off" to those who sponsored this contest and hats off to the kids who put their time and effort into something worthwhile that will benefit others.

Previous poster please tell us what you have done for the community? What are the wonderful things you have done to serve others in the corner of the world you live in? Please post your name so we can say nice things about all the good you are doing in Milton?
What? What's that? Don't hear anything?
Wait, did I hear something? No, that was just crickets.

These young people are more than alright. They are outstanding. Access Milton is taking advantage of our youth? Are you an idiot?
Tim and Lisa are happy citizens which is more than can be said about you.

Hey Tim, is there a way to block this woman's blogs to Access Milton? All she wants to do is ruin this website. The people in our community are sick of her.

The "hater" and miserable one is the same blogger. Notice how this person doesn't comment on anything other than an article involving Tim or anyone who works with him or is associated with him on any topic. Go away! Tim I agree with the poster who wants to block this blogger. Either that or delete all her comments, they are fruitless anyway.

Look at all your other articles, zero or one or two comments, but an article with Tims name in it or has something to do with Tim and there r ten to twenty comments.

I agree with previous post 100%. She is unbelievable. Almost like a dreaded disease.
Hope Tim can somehow block all her future attempts.

Most know who "she" is. Wondering if "she" wishes to be dentified?

Tim, as a service to readers, please block her posts or deleat.
