These are not Milton City Schools and the student demographics are not limited to Milton residents.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21862313.post-23076123082219204392008-09-13T08:14:00.000-07:002008-09-13T08:14:00.000-07:00How many students attend Milton High School from A...How many students attend Milton High School from Alpharetta, Roswell, and Milton? Someone find out the exact numbers. Then we can determine if Milton needs a new school, or they are building a new school in Milton to kick the Milton students out of the existing MHS to use it more ( "over 75% will come from Alparetta and Roswell", according to Katie in an article from Candy Waylock last year), "once the new high school is built and the children are rezoned and redistricted".

Again, the need is not from Milton, lets see the true numbers out on the table. Why won't the BOE share that information with us?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21862313.post-73989256166305773762008-09-13T07:15:00.000-07:002008-09-13T07:15:00.000-07:00Let me get this straight:A NIMBY wishes that the s...Let me get this straight:
A NIMBY wishes that the site had been developed, instead of the school?
As usual, they drive away revenue & higher property values by delay/defer/deny tactics, then complain about the outcome when they cause something less desirable. No sense of responsiblity for the chaos and cost they cause, but after the fact, whine about what went wrong.

Personally, we miss the cows that used to graze there, but don't have $20million to keep the property a meadow.

Classic example of what is going on in Milton that will kill this once beautiful city. It is ironic that most shrill voices of the JZB bra-gade are mostly newcomers or live in homes & shop in places they would fight against once here.

At least we have our "best & brightest" on the case, judging by comments in the article (not!!!).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
